Preschool Bible Crafts

Use these preschool bible crafts to help your preschoolers make a stronger connection to a bible story or lesson.

1.Blowing in the wind

Supplies needed:
pieces of white poster board
washable markers
tape
crepe paper
string
hole punch
In advance, cut the poster board into fourths. Cut a diamond shaped kite from each fourth.

Give each child a kite shape. Guide him to decorate his kite with the markers. Help him tape crepe paper streamers to the bottom corner of the kite. Punch a hole in the left and right corners. Thread a 36 inch length of string through the holes, tying a knot in the back of the kite, and leaving about 12 inches for the flying string. Tell your preschooler that kite flying is a fun family activity.Read Psalm 147:18 and say to your child that God makes the wind blow.

2.Foam Bracelets
Supplies needed:
craft foam sheets cut in 1-by-2 inch strips
hole punch
yarn
washable markers
In advance, cut foam sheet into strips, then punch a hole at each end of the strip. Provide 3 strips for each preschooler. on one strip print Jesus, on another loves, and on the third me. Older preschoolers may do this themselves.

Guide your preschoolers to use markers to decorate the unprinted side of their strips, then using short lengths of yarn tie them together to make a bracelet. They may turn their bracelets facing the decorated side of the printed side. Tell your children that these bracelets remind us that Jesus loves us.

3.Bible Verse book

Print each simplified bible verse below on a sheet of colored paper. Bring out old magazines and have your preschoolers cut out various pictures that illustrate each bible verse, and glue it on the matching page. Keep these pages in a three ring binder and add future bible verses to the collection.

God made the flowers(see Gen. 1:11).

Everything God made was very good(see Gen. 1:31).

Look at the wonderful things God made(see Job 37:14)

God made the ocean and the dry land(see Psalm 95:5)

The Lord is good(see Psalm 100:3)

God gives food to us(see Psalm 136:25)
br> We work together(see 1 Cor. 3:9)

God gives us things to enjoy(see 1 Tim 6:17)

Craft tip:
Place children’s art work at their level.
