Spring themed rhyme:
Little Robin Redbreast
Little Robin Readbreast sat upon a rail.
Niddle, naddle went his head;
Wiggle, waggle went his tail.
Little Robin Redbreast jumped upon a spade,
Pussy cat jumped after him, and then he was afraid.
Little Robin chirped and sang, and what did Pussy say?
Pussy cat said, "Mew, Mew," and Robin jumped away.
Summer themed rhyme:
Mister Sun
Mister Sun, Mister Golden Sun
Please shine down on me;
Mister Sun, Mister Golden Sun
Hiding behind that tree.
Here we all are waiting for you,
So come on and do that thing that you do!
Oh, Mister Sun, Mister Golden Sun
Please shine down on,
Won’t you shine down on,
Please shine down on me!
Fall themed rhyme:
When the Leaves are on the Ground
When the leaves are on the ground,
Instead of on the trees,
I like to make a great big pile of them
Way up to my knees.
I like to run and jump in them
And kick them all around.
I like the prickly feel of them
And the crickly, crackly sound.
Winter themed rhyme:
Snow at Night
The snow fell softly all the night,
And now the fields and trees are white.
It covered all our roof and ground,
While I was sleeping safe and sound.
