Love is in the air in this month of February as Valentine’s Day is approaching. Crafts are a great way for children to express their love to those in their lives, and to see the joy that their gift brings to others.
Recipes
Grandma's Sugar Cookies
2 1/2 cups butter
4 eggs
3 cups white sugar
6 to 8 cups flour
2/3 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in a little water(1 to 2 Tbsp)
Cream butter, add sugar and eggs; mix well. Add in flour and soda water, mix to form a soft dough. Knead into a ball. Roll dough out on floured surface and cut with heart shaped cookie cutters. Bake until golden brown on an ungreased cookie sheet, about 12 to 15 minutes at 350 F. Decorate with icing or eat plain.
