Spring Preschool Activities

Ahh....Spring! Help your preschooler celebrate this wonderful season with spring preschool activities including arts and crafts that capture the colors and new life springing forth. Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day are some spring holidays that offer more opportunities for building memories with your preschooler. Spring draws us outside with the warmer weather. Here are some sensory activities to help your preschooler explore the sights and sounds of spring!

Recipes
Cool Spring Salad
4 cups torn iceberg lettuce
4 cups torn leaf lettuce
1 cup strawberries, cut into very small bites
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
3/4 cup sweet poppy seed dressing
Spread pecans on cookie sheet, bake in 300 F oven for 10 minutes, turn and bake ten minutes more. Cool. Tear enough lettuce to fill a medium-sized bowl, top with strawberries, pecans, and blue cheese. Can refrigerate at this point until later. When ready to eat, pour dressing on top and toss all together.
