Recipes
Cool Spring Salad
4 cups torn iceberg lettuce
4 cups torn leaf lettuce
1 cup strawberries, cut into very small bites
1/2 cup pecans
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
3/4 cup sweet poppy seed dressing
Spread pecans on cookie sheet, bake in 300 F oven for 10 minutes, turn and bake ten minutes more. Cool. Tear enough lettuce to fill a medium-sized bowl, top with strawberries, pecans, and blue cheese. Can refrigerate at this point until later. When ready to eat, pour dressing on top and toss all together. Refreshing!
